Oh yes, and then there’s the question of the people who were here centuries before the Colonials arrived. They could use that argument to say that they’re even more American than the rest, but I don’t think you’d like that very much. You know who else weren’t “real Americans?” The first Americans! Native Americans walked over a land bridge to get here, and the first people to come across weren’t raised here. They’ve got families that lived in the US a hell of a lot longer then these colonial families you talk about. 300 years? Try 12,000.
