They are not you. You’ll gradually begin to notice yourself calmer as you go about your day. Social interactions suddenly appear more pleasant and easier to navigate. People become more receptive to your presence. You exude a sense of calm and confidence. This has a ripple effect on everything else. Personal growth usually lies outside the realm of our comfort zones. Any achievement of real significance involves stress, ambiguity, and a degree of the unknown. Reframing your attitude to view discomfort and challenges as something you should actively seek out, rather than avoid, is very useful. Your courage will be rewarded. Doors will begin to open.
