Being a good designer literally takes years of learning and experience. The amount of technical expertise a graphic design knows is astonishing – print techniques, industrial processes, software, user experience and psychology, how to fix a hundred unexpected errors, who to communicate effectively and simply, etc. In short: A good designer is worth his or her weight in gold – you aren’t a good designer, nor will you be, so understand their value and find a good one to leverage your success.
