As far as we know, their brains function more like those of the opposite sex, so I’ll ask you to imagine what it would be like if a man was stuck with breasts for extended periods of time, and couldn’t remove them without potentially dying. It sounds like a fetish most men have every day, but actually having breasts for a person with a male brain is horrible. Their brains just innately don’t like it. Their brains also innately just don’t like having that much estrogen in their bodies, or having curvy bodies. The brain of a trans person, because of its structure, isn’t compatible with the natural biology of the rest of the body. It causes intense distress for the person, and this is what people call “gender dysphoria”.
