Packers ain’t nothing but a thing shirt

So if you compare this position/stance of the UK government on this issue against countries in continental Europe it is not clear cut. It’s like saying ‘yes we tolerate this, and you can live by the rules of your liking, but hang on, in fact, no for that particular stuff, you can’t do that, and on that one either, etc.’ Whilst in continental Europe the position is that you keep your religion in the private sphere and that you are first and foremost a national citizen of a particular country rather than belonging and showing to the public you are a member of a particular religion. Still can’t quite get my head around it. Explanations welcome.
