I was the one who spent almost 1 hour/day to call the travel company and ask for a refund. It would always be: “Let me put you in line with bla bla Department,” followed by a 30-minute wait, explaining the whole situation to a new person, only to be told: “We should check it with the airlines. Can you call us back tomorrow at 4 PM London time?” And repeat for the next 3–4 days before they finally said they would send an email regarding the refund and stuffs.
