I was very tired but I saw OPD patients with all my energy. I got free at around 8 pm from OPD and ward work. I straight away headed to the ICU. ICU colleague told me she is doing better and will be taken off ventilator within a day or two. I was delighted to hear that. Her young age was helping her recover quickly. Few days later, by the time she was shifted back to ward I was posted in other area. I came to see her in between and waved at her. I didn’t know whether she knows that I saved her life. Two days later she was discharged with advice to be followed up in OPD.
