Restricting indoor gatherings is in no way a restriction of I only buy yarn when I need it for a project or because It’s on sale shirt. Only a restriction of self-serving assholes who want to use religion as an excuse to put everyone’s health at risk. You cannot single out religious institutions with regulations that don’t apply to other businesses which would create disparate enforcement which is what the previous policy did! Hundreds of people were allowed in shopping areas of various sorts but not in churches. Enforcement of restrictions have to be equally applied. Sure, spread the disease to your family, neighbors, friends, someone at the grocery store, all in the name of “God.”
