Once I get into hell, I’ll start organizing the have-nots over there. Alinsky held to the idea that unorthodox methods for affecting change were acceptable. If the actions undertaken brought to light the problem a community was facing, then the means used were acceptable. He believed that once a particular goal is set, the means necessary to achieve it, given the community involved, become more apparent and easier to discern if appropriate or not.
