Who did you play with recess?” “How was your day?” is an okay question but often it is used to just keep the day flowing. Be detailed. Learn your child’s behaviors, personality, many things. We are not perfect as parents but we can honestly want to know them and that is what will speak volumes and open them up so we can help them in life.
